Tracking conversion to keywords level

  • For those of you who are using Google Adwords for affiliate marketing surely know it is imperative to track which keywords are converting to sales or lead and profitable, and which one should be removed immediately because not making any sales and wasting my advertising money ( I read about it the first time in Scott Boulch’s controversial report The Death of Adsense).

    I’m currently trying to track down which keywords making money for me and which one are not by using Google Analytics (it’s free). The difficulties I’m facing is how to use it if I’m direct-linking to the merchant page. Sure I read it everywhere that it is always better to use your own landing page when trying to make an affiliate sales, what can I say? I’m not confident enough to make my own specific landing page for this purpose.

    I do hope that my mentor Anne Ahira will soon giving the lesson about tracking conversion using Google Analytics.
